Okay, so I've long been a Star Trek fan. And a reader of Wil Wheaton's weblog. On this entry, he points out the TV Guide poll for Most Annoying Star Trek character.
While the writers often gave Wesley terrible lines, how Wesley could beat out The Computer Voice (which at least once also appeared on enemy, alien ships), Nurse Chapel (written horribly, too, but not in the poll!), and Lwaxana Troi (deliberately annoying, and better written than the other two parts this same actress played) -- is beyond me. Go vote -- also for some other categories like most memorable line. Don't worry, you won't be assimilated ...
